People ask how i've been doin since i lost you
I say "i'm fine."
I just say that i still feel like you're with me
They smile, i smile
They don't know what i got waitin' when i get home
It's such a shame
And every time i hear the doorbell ring itself, i get so excited
I feel numb as i sprawl my body across my bed
The sheets are cold
Half-asleep and half-scared to death, you know i hate ghosts
Except for you!
And as i feel invisible fingers runnin' up and down my spine
I call your name
and everytime i see the lights turning on and off
I can feel the blood rush to my skin
people ask how i've been doin since i lost you
i say "i'm fine."
and as a matter of fact, yeah, we get along better since you died
i smile, they don't
they don't know what i've got waitin' when i get home
it is such a shame
and every time that invisible mouth breathes in my ear, i can hardly keep my hands off myself
I say "i'm fine."
I just say that i still feel like you're with me
They smile, i smile
