Travis here. So while The Plan works on our record... somehow I also have a new band called The Burlies.
We are playing New York at the Cake Shop on Thursday, November 1, and Washington, D.C. at the Paperhaus on Saturday, November 3. It will be our first two shows!
Doors are around 8pm in both cases.
The band features David Brown of Poor But Sexy, whom I also played with in the Hellfighters; Drew Butler of Cataract Camp; and Eric Farr of the Diagnostics.
We don't really have much social media presence, or a website, or anything except a bunch of rock and roll songs. Mostly by us. We're gonna do some Warren Zevon and Lovin' Spoonful covers too if that's what you're into.
I'd say it's meat and potatoes rock and roll. If the meat was locally sourced and it was served with roasted brussel sprouts and a micro-brew IPA.
